A absolvit Liceul \u201eIulia Hasdeu\u201d, \u015ecoala Tehnic\u0103 Financiar\u0103, apoi Institutul de Arte Plastice \u201eNicolae Grigorescu\u201d (1965-1971), sec\u0163ia de arte decorative, av\u00e2nd ca profesori pe Zoe B\u0103icoianu, Mac Constantinescu, Ion Popescu-Negreni \u015fi fiind coleg\u0103 cu Cristina Dr\u0103niceanu, Rodica Mazilescu, Ioana Tomescu, Dan B\u0103ncil\u0103, Valentin Dumitra\u015fcu. A fost, o vreme, contabil\u0103 la sec\u0163ia financiar\u0103 a sectorului \u201e1 Mai\u201d. A fost creator\/designer \u00een industria sticlei \u015fi ceramicii, p\u00e2n\u0103 \u00een 1990, la fabrici din Sighi\u015foara, Baia Mare, Curtea de Arge\u015f, Alba Iulia, Cluj-Napoca, T\u00e2rn\u0103veni, Bucure\u015fti (Curtea Sticlarilor). Unele lucr\u0103ri, printre care \u201eCenu\u015f\u0103reasa\u201d, i-au fost premiate. \u00centre 1977-1984 \u015fi 2003-2004 s-a aflat \u00een India, la Delhi, c\u0103l\u0103torind la Indore, Dharamsala, Almora, Kurukshetra, Agra, Chandigarh etc. Al\u0103turi de fiic\u0103 \u015fi so\u0163, a fost parte a comunit\u0103\u0163ii universitare din Delhi, unde a \u00eencheiat prietenii cu Margaret Chatterjee, Esha Beteille, Urmila Rani Trikha, Lila Shivaramaya, Nilima Das. A fost coexaminator la examene de limba rom\u00e2n\u0103 (Delhi University, Modern European Languages Department, devenit ulterior German and Romance Studies Dept.). Mul\u0163i studen\u0163i i se adresau cu \u201emam\u0103\u201d \u015fi au vizitat-o \u00een Rom\u00e2nia \u00een semn de respect. \u00cen 1970 termin\u0103 scrierea basmului cult \u201ePeregrin\u0103rile Prin\u0163ului cel Trist\u201d \u015fi \u0163ine un jurnal literar personal. A f\u0103cut lecturi aprofundate din filosofia \u015fi religiile indiene, \u00eenscriindu-se la doctorat cu o tez\u0103 despre estetica budhist\u0103. Distins\u0103 cu Premiul \u201eIon Ghica\u201d pentru jurnal al Societ\u0103\u0163ii Scriitorilor T\u00e2rgovi\u015fteni pentru volumul \u201eJurna Lamar\u201d (2012). F\u0103r\u0103 patetisme, f\u0103r\u0103 paseisme, f\u0103r\u0103 glorificarea trecutului cu mult mai interesant de acum dou\u0103zeci de ani, c\u00e2nd \u00eempreun\u0103 cu fiica, \u00eel urmaser\u0103 pe G \u00een India unde au locuit aproape \u015fapte ani! \/ Citind Jurna Lamar al Rodic\u0103i Anca este ca \u015fi cum \u0163i-ai vedea propria via\u0163\u0103 de dup\u0103 2000 \u00eencoace \u00eentr-un fel \u00een care \u00ee\u0163i este cunoscut, dar poate c\u0103 nu \u00eendr\u0103znise\u015fi s\u0103 accep\u0163i c\u0103 este numai a\u015fa \u015fi nu altfel. Rodica Anca scrie u\u015for, uneori deta\u015fat, alteori p\u0103tima\u015f, \u00eentr-un fel de catharsis, scrie nel\u00e2s\u00e2nd nimic la o parte din tot ceea ce \u00eenseamn\u0103 via\u0163a ei. <\/em>(Florina Dobre)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>&#8230; totul se contope\u015fte, \u00een aceast\u0103 zon\u0103, \u00eentr-un \u00eentreg multicolor de tr\u0103iri, asemenea unui continent al \u00eenceputului \u015fi al seninei ascenden\u0163e umane. Un asemenea sentiment degaj\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 doar \u015fi poate, \u015fi cartea doamnei Rodica Anca, inspirat\u0103 m\u00e2nuitoare a penelului, dar \u015fi a condeiului, \u00een cartea sa dedicat\u0103 copiilor \u201ePeregrin\u0103rile Prin\u0163ului cel Trist\u201d. Imagina\u0163ia autoarei ofer\u0103 micului cititor o desf\u0103\u015furare de \u00eent\u00e2mplari care, pe r\u00e2nd, fascineaz\u0103, acapareaz\u0103 \u015fi educ\u0103. Jurnalul Rodic\u0103i Anca red\u0103, cu o vibratie deosebit\u0103, viata de zi cu zi a unei insule de rom\u00e2ni- familia ei, \u00een principal- \u00een mijlocul acestor fra\u0163i ai lui Tagore, dar din acest secol, o via\u0163\u0103 tinz\u00e2nd permanent spre cunoasterea civilizatiei milenare a Indiei, spre integrarea \u00een acest spatiu uman divers. E vorba, s-ar putea spune, de un Jurnal domestic, al \u00eentampl\u0103rilor zilnice, din care fac parte at\u00e2t bucuriile \u015fi satisfac\u0163iile, c\u00e2t \u015fi unele asperita\u0163i. Dar nici Rom\u00e2nia, r\u0103mas\u0103 departe, nu e uitat\u0103. La un moment dat, autoarea se \u00eentreaba: Ne-or fi primit \u00een NATO?. Paginile au ritm, consisten\u0163\u0103, culoare, semn sigur c\u0103 Rodica Anca a sim\u0163it o nevoie imperioas\u0103 s\u0103-l scrie. \u015ei bine a f\u0103cut. <\/em>(Florin Costinescu)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Cine a citit o carte de Rodica Anca le va citi pe toate care vor urma. Ea nu are nevoie de recomandare. Se recomand\u0103 singur\u0103 prin ceea ce scrie. \u00cei rog pe to\u0163i prietenii \u015fi neprietenii ei (de\u015fi cred c\u0103 nu are du\u015fmani) s\u0103-i urm\u0103reasc\u0103 toate apari\u0163iile. Umor critic \u015fi autocritic, observator al am\u0103nuntelor care de multe ori trec neobservate, dar care \u00een multe cazuri fac hazul scrierilor ei. Modest\u0103, ea scormone\u015fte, nu inventeaz\u0103 nimic, ea spune ce se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 \u00een sufletul ei \u015fi cum reac\u0163ioneaz\u0103 la ceea ce se \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103 \u00een jurul ei. Citind \u201eJurnalul Dedelhi\u201d am aflat dou\u0103 lucruri esen\u0163iale: am cunoscut multe despre India \u015fi de asemenea am aflat c\u0103 pe so\u0163ul Domniei sale \u00eel cheam\u0103 Mister G, alias Gigi aka George Anca<\/em>.
