Cuv\u00e2ntul \u00eensu\u015fi e de origine urban\u0103 \u2026 \u0162\u0103ranul nu-\u015fi zice niciodat\u0103 \u0163\u0103ran. \u2026 \u0162\u0103ranii \u00eens\u0103 numesc pe \u0163\u0103rani, simplu, oameni. De fapt, \u0163\u0103ranul n-are nume pentru c\u0103 nu e nici clas\u0103, nici breasl\u0103, nici func\u0163ie, ci poprul \u00eensu\u015fi \u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0162\u0103ranul nu pleac\u0103 nici de voie, nici de nevoie. El n-are unde s\u0103-\u015fi mute s\u0103r\u0103cia, pentru c\u0103, smuls de pe ogorul lui, ar fi os\u00e2ndit s\u0103 piar\u0103 \u2026 El se simte z\u0103mislit \u015fi n\u0103scut din acest p\u0103m\u00e2nt \u2026 Astfel, destinul p\u0103m\u00e2ntului care ne-a n\u0103scut \u015fi ne-a crescut a trebuit s\u0103 comande \u015fi destinul dezvolt\u0103rii neamului nostru. \u2026 Rezultatul? Rom\u00e2nia actual\u0103 (nt-antebelic\u0103) cu Dacia de odinioar\u0103 sunt congruente nu numai \u00een privin\u0163a configura\u0163iei geografice, dar \u015fi a configura\u0163iei etnografice \u2026 Acest singur fapt, aceast\u0103 eviden\u0163\u0103 b\u0103t\u0103toare la ochi ar trebui s\u0103 puie pe g\u00e2nduri, dac\u0103 nu s\u0103-i desarmeze, pe apostolii interesa\u0163i ai discontinuit\u0103\u0163ii \u2026<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">O caracteristic\u0103 tot at\u00e2t de important\u0103 a unui neam, ca \u015fi comunitatea de s\u00e2nge, este limba. La noi \u015fi aceasta e opera \u0163\u0103ranului. \u2026 Farmecul \u015fi expresivitatea specific\u0103 le-a c\u0103p\u0103tat de la f\u0103uritorul ei originar, care a fost \u0163\u0103ranul. \u2026 P\u00e2n\u0103 la Eminescu totu\u015fi limba literar\u0103 a mai avut destule \u015fov\u0103iri. Numai geniul eminescian a \u015ftiut s\u0103 integreze organic comoara limbii \u0163\u0103ranului \u00een limba uzual\u0103 a tuturor. Prin Eminescu \u0163\u0103ranul a d\u0103ruit elementul cel mai necesar literaturii noastre: limba curat\u0103, bogat\u0103, ml\u0103dioas\u0103, mereu nou\u0103, cu posibilitatea de etern\u0103 \u00eenoire, cu dinamism etern \u2026 Colaborarea dintre Rom\u00e2nul cel mai modest \u015fi poetul cel mai mare a fixat linia general\u0103 a originalit\u0103\u0163ii literare rom\u00e2ne\u015fti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Precum \u015fi-a modelat limba, tot astfel a p\u0103strat \u015fi modelat \u0163\u0103ranul rom\u00e2n, dup\u0103 chipul \u015fi asem\u0103narea lui, credin\u0163a \u00een Dumnezeu. Din b\u0103tr\u00e2ne supersti\u0163ii, din r\u0103m\u0103\u015fi\u0163e de credin\u0163e str\u0103vechi transformate \u015fi adaptate, din dogme \u015fi precepte cre\u015ftine, el \u015fi-a alc\u0103tuit o religie specific\u0103, un amalgam profund de cre\u015ftinism \u015fi p\u0103g\u00e2nism. Religia aceasta, legea rom\u00e2neasc\u0103 e unic\u0103 pentru \u00eentreg neamul nostru pe deasupra tuturor controverselor teologice. \u00cen ea se rezum\u0103 concep\u0163ia de via\u0163\u0103 a \u0163\u0103ranului rom\u00e2n, resemnarea \u015fi \u00eencrederea lui \u00een dreptatea divin\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Oric\u00e2t ar p\u0103rea de ciudat \u015fi de trist, adaptarea la s\u0103r\u0103cie, \u00eempreun\u0103 cu toate consecin\u0163ele ei, a fost o necesitate vital\u0103 pentru poporul rom\u00e2nesc. Altminteri n-ar fi putut \u00eendura via\u0163a \u015fi s-ar fi sf\u0103r\u00e2mat \u015fi topit printre celelalte neamuri. \u00cenchiz\u00e2ndu-se \u00een s\u0103r\u0103cie ca \u00eentr-o g\u0103oace indestructibil\u0103, s-a singularizat \u015fi a putut s\u0103-\u015fi dezvolte \u00eensu\u015firile specifice, s\u0103-\u015fi dob\u00e2ndeasc\u0103 o fizionomie na\u0163ional\u0103 deosebit\u0103. Via\u0163a s\u0103rac\u0103 nu exclude bog\u0103\u0163ia sufleteasc\u0103. S\u0103racul e mai aproape de sufletul s\u0103u dec\u00e2t bogatul \u015fi are mai mult\u0103 nevoie de frumosul care, transfigur\u00e2nd realitatea, devine izvor de speran\u0163\u0103 \u015fi de m\u00e2ng\u0103iere.
