La o prim\u0103 vedere, s-ar putea spune despre poezia Marianei Gurza<\/strong> c\u0103 este de un ermetism\u00a0 pe care mul\u0163i cititori nu l-ar \u00een\u0163elege. Deh, e mult mai u\u015for s\u0103 prive\u015fti poezia de azi prin prisma textu-alismului – dar dincolo de aparenta \u00eenchistare lingvistic\u0103 explodeaz\u0103 versuri neobi\u015fnuit de pro-funde; poate \u00een asta st\u0103 \u015fi coeficientul de ermetism pe care nu-l neg, doar \u00eel observ (ca parte, nu ca \u00eentreg).<\/p>\n

\u00cencerc s\u0103 definesc global maniera scrisului Marianei Gurza<\/strong>, nu s\u0103 m\u0103 raportez la valen\u0163ele unui singur volum, astfel c\u0103 pot opina: aura profe-soral\u0103 ca prim\u0103 senza\u0163ie, c\u00e2nd \u00eei cite\u015fti poemele aproape c\u0103 dispare, dac\u0103 te la\u015fi purtat de versuri, f\u0103r\u0103 inten\u0163ii critice imediate. Ce \u015fi-ar putea dori mai mult un poet, dec\u00e2t s\u0103 trezeasc\u0103 emo\u0163ia \u00een po-ten\u0163ialul cititor?, c\u0103ci tr\u0103im \u00eentr-o lume \u00een care sentimentul<\/em> este, dup\u0103 tot mai desele p\u0103reri, mult mai u\u015for de generat pe calculator dec\u00e2t tr\u0103it pe viu, la intensitatea generat\u0103 de fiin\u0163a uman\u0103. E drept c\u0103 actualele resurse tehnologice \u00eendep\u0103rteaz\u0103 omul de propria sa expresivitate, \u00eendep\u0103rt\u00e2ndu-l astfel de partea lui artistic\u0103 \u2013 dar tot drept este c\u0103 poezia contemporan\u0103 s-a transformat \u00eentr-un fel de \u201ebun\u201d ce poate fi v\u00e2ndut ori cump\u0103rat precum o roat\u0103 de ma\u015fin\u0103, ca s\u0103 dau un exemplu. \u015ei-atunci cum s\u0103 convingi pe cineva c\u0103 arta este necesar\u0103?<\/p>\n

Tot felul de filme \u015fi informa\u0163ii mass media spun lumii c\u0103 arta se m\u0103soar\u0103 \u00een cota\u0163ii ale caselor de licita\u0163ii, c\u0103 e valoros numai ce cost\u0103 mul\u0163i bani, ignor\u00e2ndu-se (voit sau din ne\u015ftiin\u0163\u0103) rostul ei pri-mordial, acela de a ne r\u0103scoli fiin\u0163a \u00een alt sens dec\u00e2t cel material.<\/p>\n

Prin <\/strong>poezia sa, Mariana Gurza <\/strong>opune curajos latura spiritual\u0103 celei materiale, \u201erealiz\u0103rii\u201d facile prin materialul\/financiarul acestor timpuri dezaxate. De vom privi \u015fi partea spiritual\u0103 \u2013 depin-de doar de noi. De nu, putem spune ca Nietzsche: \u201eDac\u0103 te ui\u0163i ad\u00e2nc \u00een neant, \u015fi neantul se uit\u0103 la tine\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Why Mariana Gurza?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 At a first glance, of Mariana Gurza<\/strong>\u2019s poetry one might say that it is of an hermeticism which many readers would not understand. Aye, it’s much easier to look at today\u2019s poetry through the prism of textualism\u00a0 – but unusually profound poetic lines explode beyond the apparent linguistic seclusion. Perhaps in this resides the factor of hermetism which I do not deny but simply observe (as a part rather than as a whole).<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I attempt to define the manner of Mariana Gurza\u2019s writing globally instead of referring to the valencies of a single volume, therefore I can opine: although an initial perception when you read the poems, the professorial aura nearly disappears\u00a0 if you let yourself be carried away by the lines with no immediate critical intentions. What could a poet wish for but to emotionally stir the potential reader?, because we live in a world where the sentiment<\/em> is – according to increasingly common opinions – much easier to be generated on the computer than living lively, at\u00a0 the intensity generated by human beings. It cannot be denied that current technological resources remove the human being from its own poetic expression, thus removing him or her from their artistic side. But it is equally valid that contemporary poetry has been turned into a type of commodity that can be sold or bought as a car wheel, for the sake of giving an example. How could you then possibly convince someone that art is indispensable?<\/p>\n

Various films and media information present art to the world as if it were measurable in the quotas of auction houses, as if it were valuable only when costing a lot of money, and they ignore (willingly or ignorantly) its primordial purpose, that of stirring our being in another manner than the worldly one.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Through her poetry, Mariana Gurza<\/strong> courageously opposes the spiritual side to the materialistic one, to the facile “achievement” by\u00a0 materialistic and monetary means of our contemporary world lacking an axis. Should we also consider the spiritual side, that depends only on us. Should we not, we can state like Nietzsche: “If you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.”<\/em><\/p>\n
