Treizeci \u0219i nou\u0103. Aceasta \u2013 \u201eArticole, eseuri\u201d, vol. VII \u2013 fiind a patruzecea, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 alte volume colective. Dincolo de numeroasele greut\u0103\u021bi pe care timpul i le-a scos \u00een cale pe parcursul existen\u021bei sale, scriitoarea \u0219i omul au reu\u0219it s\u0103 biruie. Mai mult: s\u0103 trag\u0103 \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103minte, s\u0103 acumuleze informa\u021bii, s\u0103 asimileze substan\u021ba acestora, s\u0103-\u0219i zugr\u0103veasc\u0103 devenirea \u00eentr-un plan general, care nu este doar al s\u0103u. Drume\u021biile au pus-o la \u00eencercare, ea a onorat drume\u021biile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hot\u0103r\u00e2t lucru: Vavila Popovici este un poet profund g\u00e2nditor, aflat \u00een permanen\u021b\u0103 sub obl\u0103duirea stimulativ\u0103 a medita\u021biei deopotriv\u0103 ra\u021bionale \u0219i sentimentale. Ideea cu miez \u00een hain\u0103 de metafor\u0103 frumoas\u0103 o particularizeaz\u0103. M\u0103rturie stau nu doar c\u0103r\u021bile sale de poezie \u0219i nu numai prozele sale viguros emotive. \u00cen chip deosebit, articolele \u0219i eseurile confirm\u0103 afirma\u021bia de mai \u00eenainte. \u00cen poeme se g\u0103sesc idei metaforice; \u00een proze se afl\u0103 metafore ideatice. Nu e un joc de cuvinte \u00een ceea ce scriu, ci o constatare proprie, de cititor avizat, a\u0219 cuteza s\u0103 sus\u021bin. Aduc \u00een sprijin ceea ce scrie pe coperta c\u0103r\u021bii: <em>\u201ePrincipalele tr\u0103s\u0103turi ale societ\u0103\u021bii de ast\u0103zi \u2013 nu am gre\u0219i dac\u0103 am spune c\u0103 sunt egoismul, obr\u0103znicia, impertinen\u021ba, lipsa credin\u021bei. A g\u00e2ndi asupra acestora, \u00eenseamn\u0103 a filozofa, \u00eenseamn\u0103 s\u0103-\u021bi \u00eentorci fiin\u021ba pe o parte \u0219i alta p\u00e2n\u0103 la durere, pentru a \u00een\u021belege lumea \u00een care tr\u0103ie\u0219ti. \u0218i faci acest lucru av\u00e2nd curaj. Te fr\u0103m\u00e2nt\u0103 problemele acestei lumi \u0219i uneori, culmea, realizezi c\u0103 ai pierdut timp \u00een zadar, nereu\u0219ind s\u0103 g\u0103se\u0219ti o form\u0103 de echilibru a omului \u00een aceast\u0103 lume. \u0218i totu\u0219i con\u0219tiin\u021ba ta nu te las\u0103 s\u0103 ie\u0219i din aceast\u0103 sfer\u0103 a fr\u0103m\u00e2nt\u0103rilor, continui s\u0103 judeci, s\u0103 ad\u00e2nce\u0219ti situa\u021biile ivite \u0219i \u00eencerci \u00een continuare s\u0103 \u00een\u021belegi, s\u0103 g\u0103se\u0219ti justific\u0103ri, uneori poate \u0219i remedii&#8230;\u201d<\/em> Iar g\u00e2ndul, cel pu\u021bin pe mine, m\u0103 duce c\u0103tre ceea ce a spus, ceva mai demult, poetul George Co\u0219buc: <em>\u201eO lupt\u0103 -i via\u021ba, deci te lupt\u0103!\u201d<\/em> \u0218i trag concluzia: Vavila Popovici este, \u00eentre altele, o lupt\u0103toare. Arma ei principal\u0103: cuv\u00e2ntul. \u021ainta ei principal\u0103: biruin\u021ba vie\u021bii.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Volumul pe care \u00eel am sub priviri nu se deschide prin formula clasic\u0103 a <em>Cuv\u00e2ntului \u00eenainte<\/em> sau <em>Prefe\u021bei<\/em>. El debuteaz\u0103 cu c\u00e2teva considera\u021bii ale celor care cunosc bine substan\u021ba scrierilor autoarei Vavila Popovici. Afirm\u0103 scriitorul Eugen Evu \u00een textul intitulat \u201eVavila Popovici sau reproiectarea \u00een oper\u0103 a Fiin\u021bei prin autocunoa\u0219tere post-socratic\u0103\u201d: <em>\u201eOpera Vavilei Popovici este una a \u00eemplinirilor \u00een algoritmii unei rarisime \u00eenzestr\u0103ri cultivatoare de filosofie \u0219i erudi\u021bie, f\u0103r\u0103 a devia \u00een livresc\u201d.<\/em> Iar compozitorul, muzicologul \u0219i omul de condei Doru Popovici rezoneaz\u0103 armonic: <em>\u201e&#8230;Am citit \u015fi aprofundat multe crea\u021bii ale maestrei Vavila Popovici; ea s-a \u00eenscris printre\u00a0 sublimele rom\u00e2nce \u2013 Hariclea Darcl\u00e9e, Elena V\u0103c\u0103rescu, Martha Bibescu, Ana Ip\u0103tescu, Hortensia Papadat-Bengescu \u0219i Marina Kr\u00eelovici; prin opera ei, maestra Vavila Popovici ar putea \u201emelodia\u201d pe cuvintele divinului Hora\u021biu: <\/em><em>\u00ab <\/em><em>Exegi monumentum aere perennius <\/em><em>\u00bb<\/em><em> (Am \u00een\u0103l\u021bat un monument mai durabil dec\u00e2t bronzul)\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u0218i acest al \u0219aptelea volum de articole \u0219i eseuri semnat de Vavila Popovici \u00eel invit\u0103 pe cititor \u00eentr-un univers spiritual de o deosebit\u0103 diversitate \u0219i cu profunde semnifica\u021bii privind via\u021ba \u0219i destinele umane. Cele mai multe texte abordeaz\u0103 aspecte morale, cu trimitere direct\u0103 la ceea ce numim, generic, con\u0219tiin\u021b\u0103: \u201eDespre onoare\u201d, \u201eDespre jignire\u201d, \u201eDurere \u0219i am\u0103r\u0103ciune\u201d, \u201eDespre cruzime\u201d, \u201eSim\u021bul drept\u0103\u021bii\u201d, \u201eDespre invidie \u0219i populism\u201d, \u201eDespre Snobism \u0219i Arogan\u021b\u0103\u201d, \u201eDespre Libertate\u201d, dar \u0219i \u201eDespre elegan\u021b\u0103\u201d \u0219i \u201eDespre logic\u0103\u201d. \u00cen capul acestui eseu, autoarea a\u0219az\u0103, ca motto, ceea ce a scris nu cu mult\u0103 vreme \u00een urm\u0103 Octavian Paler: \u201e<em>\u021aip\u0103tul nu este un argument, dar este o dovad\u0103 c\u0103 omul acela nu mai are ce face cu logica\u201d.<\/em> Stimulat\u0103 \u0219i de Mihai Eminescu, \u00een ipostaza lui de ziarist, Vavila Popovici intr\u0103 \u0219i pe terenul extrem de instabil al politicii. \u0218i constat\u0103, la fel ca mul\u021bi al\u021bii: \u201e<em>C\u00e2nd deciziile politicianului sfideaz\u0103 bunul sim\u021b, \u00eenseamn\u0103 c\u0103 ele sunt ilogice, complicate, greu de explicat (&#8230;) Se spune c\u0103 masele pot fi min\u021bite, manipulate, dar oamenii cur\u00e2nd \u00ee\u0219i dau seama, \u00ee\u0219i schimb\u0103 opiniile, protesteaz\u0103 \u0219i politicianului nu i se mai ofer\u0103 \u00eencredere\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De unde am \u0219i tras \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103tura: Vavila Popovici tr\u0103ie\u0219te departe de \u021bara natal\u0103, Rom\u00e2nia, dar nu s-a rupt nici o clip\u0103 de realit\u0103\u021bile ei. Realit\u0103\u021bi care, poate, pot fi \u00eent\u00e2lnite \u0219i pe alte meleaguri, mai cu preten\u021bii \u00een privin\u021ba raportului \u00eentre logic\u0103 \u0219i politic\u0103. Iar&#8230; \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103tura mea este sus\u021binut\u0103, cu asupra de m\u0103sur\u0103, \u0219i de alte texte cuprinse \u00een volum. Cum, de pild\u0103, <em>\u201eDespre noi, despre istoria zbuciumat\u0103 a \u021b\u0103rii noastre\u201d,<\/em> \u00een care, pornind de la o declara\u021bie a ambasadorului american la Chi\u0219in\u0103u \u2013 <em>\u201eMoldova nu este Rom\u00e2nia, Moldova \u00ee\u0219i are propria sa istorie \u0219i propriile provoc\u0103ri\u201d<\/em> \u2013 scriitoarea \u00eei d\u0103, cu elegan\u021b\u0103 ferm\u0103, peste nas demnitarului care habar nu are de istoria acestui spa\u021biu, oricum cu mult mai veche dec\u00e2t a \u021b\u0103rii sale: <em>\u201eR\u0103nite sunt cele dou\u0103 p\u0103r\u021bi desp\u0103r\u021bite, Rom\u00e2nia \u0219i Basarabia \u2013 respectiv Republica Moldova \u2013, r\u0103nit\u0103 este popula\u021bia care are aceea\u0219i origine, aceea\u0219i cultur\u0103, vorbe\u0219te aceea\u0219i limb\u0103 \u0219i are acelea\u0219i r\u0103d\u0103cini istorice. Nu se \u021bine cont de sentimentele acestor oameni? L\u0103sa\u021bi inimile lor s\u0103 vorbeasc\u0103!\u201d<\/em> La care eu a\u0219 ad\u0103uga, \u00eentreb\u00e2nd: oare nu este anacronic s\u0103-i vorbe\u0219ti unui astfel de personaj despre istorie, despre cultur\u0103, despre limba matern\u0103, despre sim\u021b\u0103m\u00e2ntul patriotic? F\u0103r\u0103 nici o \u00eendoial\u0103, \u00eentrebarea mea este retoric\u0103. \u00cen opinia mea, pream\u0103rind falsul istoric, respectivul a r\u0103spuns \u00eentreb\u0103rii mai \u00eenainte ca aceasta s\u0103 fi fost formulat\u0103. Oare acesta s\u0103 fie nivelul diploma\u021biei americane!&#8230; De data aceasta, nu pun semnul \u00eentreb\u0103rii, ci pe cel al mir\u0103rii&#8230;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Duioasele aduceri aminte, chiar \u0219i \u00een situa\u021biile c\u00e2nd hopurile vie\u021bii \u00eengreunau mersul \u00eenainte, fac din paginile acestei c\u0103r\u021bi mirabile zboruri cu aripi ne-c\u0103z\u0103toare. Aducerea \u00een prezent a timpului trecut, fie \u00een baza unor pagini de istorie (\u201eUnirea Principatelor Rom\u00e2ne\u201d), fie prin r\u0103scolirea propriilor amintiri (\u201eAlba Iulia\u201d), \u00eei ofer\u0103 autoarei prilejul unor consemn\u0103ri demne de re\u021binut<em>. \u201e&#8230;\u00cemi amintesc cum \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103toarea clasei, c\u00e2nd eram \u00eenc\u0103 ni\u0219te g\u00e2g\u00e2lici, ne-a vorbit despre Horea, Clo\u0219ca \u0219i Cri\u0219an \u0219i ne-a dus s\u0103 vizit\u0103m locul unde au fost executa\u021bi Horea \u0219i Clo\u0219ca.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen leg\u0103tur\u0103 cu Unirea Principatelor, momentul 2017 \u00eei prilejuie\u0219te autoarei o constatare nu doar de bun sim\u021b: <em>\u201eAceast\u0103 zi de 24 ianuarie ar trebui s\u0103 aib\u0103 sfin\u021benia ei, lini\u0219tea \u0219i pacea ei, poporul s\u0103 fie fericit, unit \u201e\u00een cuget \u0219i sim\u021bire\u201d. Dar iat\u0103, cu dou\u0103 zile \u00eenainte de aceast\u0103 zi sf\u00e2nt\u0103, oamenii au ie\u0219it \u00een strad\u0103, \u00een capital\u0103 \u0219i \u00een alte multe ora\u0219e ale \u021b\u0103rii, majoritatea tineri (&#8230;) Ie\u0219irea \u00een strad\u0103 a fost un gest democratic al tineretului, fiindc\u0103 viitorul este al lor.\u201d<\/em> Mirarea interogativ\u0103 a scriitoarei, care a plecat din \u021bar\u0103, dar nu a p\u0103r\u0103sit-o nici o clip\u0103, s-a n\u0103scut din apari\u021bia pre\u0219edintelui Rom\u00e2niei \u00een strad\u0103, ca lider al acelui grup de protestatari: <em>\u201e\u00cen aceast\u0103 atmosfer\u0103 tulbure, periculoas\u0103 chiar (&#8230;) c\u00e2nd nu intereseaz\u0103 s\u0103rb\u0103torirea zilei de 24 ianuarie, se mai poate totu\u0219i \u00eencinge o hor\u0103 a Unirii?\u201d<\/em> \u0218i tot ea d\u0103 r\u0103spunsul: <em>\u201eSe poate!, dac\u0103 \u00een inimile oamenilor emo\u021bia \u0219i-ar schimba sensul \u0219i ura din sufletele celor ajun\u0219i la putere s\u0103 ia direc\u021bia \u00een\u021belegerii, ced\u0103rii orgoliului, \u00eenc\u0103p\u0103\u021b\u00e2n\u0103rii&#8230;\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cenchei aceste modeste considera\u021bii despre o carte care trebuie citit\u0103, dar nu-mi pot re\u021bine oftatul: Oh! Dac\u0103 \u0219i cei care nu au obiceiul s\u0103 citeasc\u0103 ar avea \u00eendemnul, m\u0103car curiozitatea, s\u0103 pun\u0103 m\u00e2na pe aceast\u0103 carte, \u0219i ei ar b\u0103ga de seam\u0103 c\u0103 a fi un bun rom\u00e2n nu impune \u00een mod obligatoriu s\u0103 tr\u0103ie\u0219ti \u00een Rom\u00e2nia.
