Nanu, Ioan Mih\u0103lcescu, Sergiu Al-George, the transposition in Eminescu&#8217;s language of the Hindu Gospel. They guided me in the beginning, as well as now, Satyavrat Shastri, Urmila Trikha, translator of Hyperon by\u00a0 Eminescu into Sanskrit, Sisir Kumar Das, Rasik Vihari Joshi, Usha Chaudhuri, not forgetting meetings with Barbara Stoler Miler, Irma Piovani, Karmela Marcangelo, Freiher Von Stietencron, Yu Long Yu, Fernando Tola, Marcel Pujol.<br \/>\nLater, presenting a paper, <em>Sanskrit Drama<\/em> &#8211; at the International Indology Conference, Delhi 2015, under the aegis of India&#8217;s President Pranab Mukherjee &#8211; and another, <em>Sanskrit-Romanian Correspondences<\/em>, at the International <em>Sanskrit &amp; Europe<\/em> Seminar, Delhi, 2016, and even nominated for \u00a0ICCR Distinguished Indologist Award 2017, I felt even more compelled.<br \/>\nTransa would have been, surprisingly, in continuity with my French translation of the <em>Truth and Revelation <\/em>by Dumitru Draghicescu, in a philosophical-religious atmosphere involuntarily affined with <em>Gita<\/em>. Considering the translational standardization of <em>Gita<\/em>, nowadays, especially in India and America, the literary fervor of Edwin Arnold or Sri Aurobindo would seem uncanonical. Besides, in the verse, &#8216;Your right is for action alone&#8230;.May you not have any inclination for inaction&#8217; (2.47), the Lord said to Arjuna that duty had to be undertaken with the aid of the Conviction about Yoga (Yoga-buddhi). Thus it is the best of all scriptures. What is the necessity of other elaborate scriptures if they are not used in conjunction with Srimad Bhagavad-Gita which emanated directly from the mouth of Lord Krishna.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The words of King Dhritarastra and others as quoted in Srimad Bhagavad-Gita were composed by Krishna Dvaipayana Vyasa to keep the consistency with the narration and they are absorbed into Srimad Bhagavad-Gita in the way salt particles are absorbed in a salt ocean.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Gita fashion? \u201eIt has become a luxurious fashion of the day, along with progressing material civilization that anyone can make their own interpretation of the great Aryan philosophy of India known as the Bhagavad-Gita. This concise form of Vedic knowledge known also as the Gita Upanisad is acknowledged by all transcendentalists and scholars of Vedic scriptures as the apex of all the Upanisads and the Vedantasutras as well. This is true especially in India. Scholars and acrayas like Sripada Sankaracarya and some of his followers could in no way ignore or even attempt to not reccognize out this very important book of knowledge, although such scholars of the Mayavada school did not acknowledge the bona fides of the Puranas. But the interpretation of Sri Sankaracarya differs from the interpretations of the Vaisnava acaryas headed by Sri Ramanujacarya and Madhvacarya. There are innumerable interpretations of the Bhagavad-Gita in the market, and it is certainly a puzzling business to select which of the various interpretations shall be accepted as bona fide and which of them shall be rejected as mala fide.\u201d (A.C.
