Una dintre ele mi-a atras aten\u021bia: Era o femeie \u00een v\u00e2rst\u0103, slab\u0103, cu p\u0103rul alb \u00eengrijit tuns, \u00eembr\u0103cat\u0103 decent, st\u00e2nd cu m\u00e2inile \u00eentinse \u00een fa\u021ba unul bol \u00een care a\u0219tepta s\u0103-i cad\u0103 ni\u0219te bani. M-am \u00eentrebat de \u00eendat\u0103 ce a putut-o determina s\u0103 ajung\u0103 s\u0103 se umileasc\u0103? Foamea desigur! \u0218i imediat m-am g\u00e2ndit la structura noastr\u0103 sufleteasc\u0103, c\u00e2t de diferi\u021bi suntem unii de al\u021bii, cum unii rezist\u0103 cu riscul mor\u021bii \u0219i al\u021bii se umilesc pentru a-\u0219i salva via\u021ba. A\u0219a au fost \u0219i cei din temni\u021bele comuniste: Cei care nu au rezistat b\u0103t\u0103ilor, au cedat\u2026 Al\u021bii au preferat s\u0103 moar\u0103, nu \u0219i-au p\u0103tat demnitatea. Dar nici unul dintre noi nu-\u0219i cunoa\u0219te limitele p\u00e2n\u0103 c\u00e2nd nu ajunge \u00eentr-o situa\u021bie similar\u0103, deci este greu a judeca. \u0218i cum s\u0103 nu vibr\u0103m la urm\u0103toarele cuvinte? \u201eDeschide-\u021bi gura pentru cel mut, pentru pricina tuturor celor p\u0103r\u0103si\u021bi! Deschide-\u021bi gura, judec\u0103 cu dreptate, \u0219i ap\u0103r\u0103 pe cel nenorocit \u0219i pe cel lipsit.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A CER\u0218I, conform dic\u021bionarului explicativ al limbii rom\u00e2ne \u00eenseamn\u0103 a cere de poman\u0103; a cer\u0219etori; a cere ceva cu st\u0103ruin\u021b\u0103; a se \u00eenjosi cer\u00e2nd ceva; a umbla cu cerutul; a se milogi; a cere cu umilin\u021b\u0103.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>A RUGA\u00a0 \u00eenseamn\u0103 tot a cere, dar \u00een mod st\u0103ruitor, \u00eendeplinirea unei dorin\u021be, un serviciu, o favoare etc. \u00censeamn\u0103 a cere foarte insistent un lucru de la cineva; a pofti, a invita. Verbul reflexiv &#8211; a face o rug\u0103ciune, a invoca divinitatea; a cere cuiva voia sau \u00eeng\u0103duin\u021ba de a face ceva.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> A REVENDICA \u00eenseamn\u0103\u00a0 tot a cere, a reclama un drept, un bun etc. care se cuvine sau apar\u021bine cuiva \u0219i care se afl\u0103 \u00een posesiunea altcuiva.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> Un om care cere vrea s\u0103 i se dea \u0219i cere fiindc\u0103 are nevoie de ceva. Dar cum cere? Am putea \u00een\u021belege c\u0103 cererile noastre se pot face nuan\u021bat: cu umilin\u021b\u0103, cu revolt\u0103, cu f\u0103\u021b\u0103rnicie sau cu demnitate.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong> Cer\u0219etorul este un om cu multe nevoi, s\u0103rac, calic, milog. S\u0103r\u0103cia, uneori \u0219i lenea, \u00eei \u00eempinge pe oameni la acest act degradant al cer\u0219etoriei. Una este s\u0103 ceri cuiva rug\u00e2ndu-l, invoc\u00e2nd formule de polite\u021be, de dragoste, care s\u0103 ridice persoana ta la rangul demnit\u0103\u021bii \u0219i alta este s\u0103 cer\u0219e\u0219ti \u00eenjosindu-te, ori s\u0103 recurgi la acte de violen\u021b\u0103. Dar se mai poate vorbi de demnitate \u00een r\u00e2ndul cer\u0219etorilor?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong> Suntem \u00eent\u00e2mpina\u021bi de cer\u0219etori \u00een diferite locuri: pe str\u0103zi, la intrarea \u00een magazine, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 biserici, \u00een metrouri, trenuri, l\u00e2ng\u0103 poduri etc. Nu sunt violen\u021bi. Resemnarea o po\u021bi vedea pe chipurile lor, \u00een gesturile lor. Avem dou\u0103 alternative: Ori trecem nep\u0103s\u0103tori pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 ei, ori b\u0103g\u0103m m\u00e2na \u00een buzunar \u0219i scoatem ni\u0219te bani pe care-i arunc\u0103m, nedorind atingerea\u2026 Un sentiment de respingere din partea noastr\u0103, totu\u0219i exist\u0103. Nu po\u021bi s\u0103-i sf\u0103tuie\u0219ti s\u0103 munceasc\u0103, s\u0103 c\u00e2\u0219tige \u00een mod cinstit, onorabil banii, fiindc\u0103 nu to\u021bi sunt \u00een stare, sau nu au unde munci \u0219i apoi nimeni nu i-a \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat. Ei au alt\u0103 \u0219coal\u0103 a vie\u021bii! Unii \u00ee\u021bi caut\u0103 privirea, \u00eentind m\u00e2inile cer\u0219ind cu \u00eendr\u0103zneal\u0103, dar\u2026 mai po\u021bi vedea printre ei \u0219i c\u00e2te unul cu capul plecat, s\u0103 auzi un suspin sau s\u0103 vezi c\u00e2teva lacrimi preling\u00e2ndu-se pe obraji, fiindc\u0103 exist\u0103 printre cei care mimeaz\u0103 neputin\u021ba \u0219i oameni cu adev\u0103rat s\u0103rmani, ologi, b\u0103tr\u00e2ni.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> R\u0103sfoiesc ziarele din ultimele s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2ni: \u201ePatru copii, suspecta\u0163i c\u0103 ar fi da\u021bi la cer\u015fit de p\u0103rin\u0163i, au disp\u0103rut\u201d; \u201eCopilul care a murit la cer\u015fit f\u0103cea parte dintr-o familie de rromi nomazi\u201d; \u201eRom\u00e2nii au fost lua\u0163i peste picior \u00een Fran\u0163a, la un show televizat. Protagoni\u015ftii emisiunii, ni\u015fte marionete, interpretate bine\u00een\u0163eles de comici, spun c\u0103 sportul na\u0163ional \u00een \u0163ara noastr\u0103 este cer\u015fitul.\u201d \u201eGuvernul francez vrea s\u0103 extind\u0103 programul de expulz\u0103ri. Autorit\u0103\u0163ile franceze preg\u0103tesc o lege care \u00eei va trimite acas\u0103 pe to\u0163i imigran\u0163ii care fur\u0103 \u015fi cer\u015fesc\u201d; \u201eO rom\u00e2nc\u0103 a fost g\u0103sit\u0103 \u00eenjunghiat\u0103 pe o strad\u0103 din Dublin. Se pare c\u0103 femeia cer\u015fea pentru a-i trimite la \u015fcoal\u0103 pe cei doi copii ai s\u0103i, care r\u0103m\u0103seser\u0103 \u00een Rom\u00e2nia, \u00een jude\u0163ul Timi\u015f\u201d; \u201ePrefectul de poli\u0163ie al Parisului a interzis, \u00eencep\u00e2nd de mar\u0163i, cer\u015fetoria pe bulevardul Champs \u00c9lys\u00e9es, o m\u0103sur\u0103 ce vizeaz\u0103 \u00een primul r\u00e2nd grupurile de cer\u015fetori originari din Rom\u00e2nia, mul\u0163i dintre ei minori, organiza\u0163i de re\u0163elele mafiote care au pus st\u0103p\u00e2nire pe anumite sectoare \u015fi pe transportul public din capitala Fran\u0163ei, a semnalat cotidianul Le Figaro\u201d; \u201eA cer\u015fi pe Champs \u00c9lys\u00e9es \u00een numele Rom\u00e2niei nu ne face cinste, afirm\u0103 Ministru de Externe al \u021b\u0103rii noastre. Trebuie s\u0103 conlucr\u0103m cu francezii pentru ca aceste re\u0163ele de cer\u015fetorie s\u0103 fie dezmembrate.\u201d<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Probabil c\u0103 mul\u021bi dintre ace\u0219ti cer\u0219etori care cer\u0219esc zilnic pe str\u0103zile ora\u0219elor din multe alte \u021b\u0103ri, aplic\u0103 proverbul: \u201eC-o pic\u0103tur\u0103 ce cur\u0103, butia se umple p\u00e2n\u0103-n gur\u0103.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong> \u00centr-o carte a inginerului Florea Dudi\u021b\u0103, fost rector al Universit\u0103\u021bii din Bra\u0219ov, intitulat\u0103 \u201eMagister ex cathedra\u201d &#8211; carte cu replici memorabile, unele de inspira\u021bie personal\u0103, altele culese din c\u0103rtur\u0103ria universal\u0103, scrie: \u201eDe ce crede\u0163i c\u0103 oamenii dau de poman\u0103 cer\u015fetorilor, orbilor \u015fi ologilor, dar nu dau poe\u0163ilor \u015fi filozofilor?\u201c \u201eProbabil, se g\u00e2ndesc c\u0103 ar putea deveni \u015fi ei cer\u015fetori, orbi, dar niciodat\u0103 poe\u0163i sau filozofi.\u201d M-a amuzat!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> Am s\u0103 vorbesc despre cer\u0219etori, despre acei oameni care se umilesc pentru a ob\u021bine pu\u021binul care li se poate da, oameni c\u0103rora noi le oferim, a\u0219a zisa milostenie. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> \u00cencep\u00e2nd cu Noul Testament, cer\u015fetorul a devenit personajul unei s\u0103r\u0103cii care nu poate fi condamnat\u0103; pe vremea cre\u015ftinismului medieval el a fost privit ca un poten\u0163ial Hristos revenit printre oameni pentru a-i \u00eencerca. Avem \u015fi noi rom\u00e2nii pove\u015fti cu acest subiect care reflect\u0103 viziunea poporului fa\u021b\u0103 de acest personaj. Scriitorul Ion Creang\u0103, recunoscut datorit\u0103 m\u0103iestriei basmelor, pove\u0219tilor \u0219i povestirilor, imagina\u021biei sale bogate, poveste\u015fte cum Dumnezeu \u015fi Sf\u00e2ntul Petru s-au pus fiecare la c\u00e2te un cap de pod, iar Ivan av\u00e2nd asupra lui numai \u201edou\u0103 carboave\u201d, a dat c\u00e2te una fiec\u0103ruia, zic\u00e2nd: \u201eNa-v\u0103! Dumnezeu mi-a dat, eu dau \u015fi Dumnezeu iar mi-a da, c\u0103 are de unde!\u201d Iar Dumnezeu \u00eei spune: \u201eCine d\u0103 s\u0103racilor, \u00eemprumut\u0103 pe Dumnezeu\u2026\u201d Scriitorul a fost inspirat desigur de cuvintele lui Iov rostite la aflarea ve\u0219tilor tragice a pierderii averii \u0219i a fiilor \u0219i fiicelor sale: \u201eDumnezeu a dat \u0219i Dumnezeu a luat. Binecuv\u00e2ntat s\u0103 fie numele lui Dumnezeu\u201d (Iov 1:21) \u0219i de proverbul rom\u00e2nesc: \u201eCine d\u0103 s\u0103racilor, \u00eemprumut\u0103 pe Dumnezeu\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<strong> Unii i-au dispre\u0163uit \u015fi \u00eei dispre\u0163uiesc pe cer\u0219etori, \u00eei consider\u0103 parazi\u0163i, lene\u015fi. De-a lungul secolelor problema a preocupat statele \u015fi au fost privi\u0163i diferit, \u00een diferite perioade: c\u00e2nd cu mil\u0103, c\u00e2nd cu ostilitate. Mul\u0163i \u015fi-au spus p\u0103rerile, reclam\u00e2nd c\u0103 sunt \u201eVampiri ai statului, c\u0103 vagabondajul este pepiniera ho\u0163ilor \u015fi asasinilor\u201d. St\u00e2nd \u015fi judec\u00e2nd drept, unii dintre ei sunt handicapa\u0163i, ologi, neav\u00e2nd alt\u0103 posibilitate de supravie\u0163uire dec\u00e2t cer\u015fitul, apel\u00e2nd la bun\u0103voin\u0163a \u015fi mila celorlal\u0163i. Oricum ar fi privi\u0163i, este cert c\u0103 cei mai mul\u0163i nu iubesc munca, iar a patra porunc\u0103 biblic\u0103 cere omului s\u0103 munceasc\u0103 \u015fase din cele \u015fapte zile ale s\u0103pt\u0103m\u00e2nii. Deci, cei ap\u0163i de munc\u0103 ar trebui s\u0103 munceasc\u0103. Dar unde? Cum \u015fi cine s\u0103 fac\u0103 selec\u0163ia? \u00cen zilele noastre num\u0103rul s\u0103racilor de acest fel a crescut \u0219i aceast\u0103 cre\u0219tere se atribuie de c\u0103tre unii relax\u0103rii moravurilor \u015fi deprav\u0103rii oamenilor (iat\u0103 c\u0103 s-au organizat \u00een re\u021bele mafiote!). Unii care detest\u0103 haosul \u0219i doresc a se institui ordinea, au propus munca obligatorie, o poli\u0163ie riguroas\u0103 \u015fi chiar \u00eensemne vizibile pe care cer\u015fetorii trebuie s\u0103 le poarte. Dar acest scenariu este diametral opus spiritului libert\u0103\u0163ii! \u0218i-atunci? Cineva \u015fi-ar fi exprimat p\u0103rerea c\u0103 \u201e\u00een gura lor este necontenit Paradisul, iar \u00een inima lor este Infernul.\u201d Unii spun c\u0103 cei care dau de poman\u0103 cer\u015fetorilor de pe str\u0103zi sau de la por\u0163ile bisericilor ar fi vinova\u0163i, pentru c\u0103 ace\u015ftia, cer\u015find, ar \u00eentre\u0163ine o adev\u0103rat\u0103 \u201e\u015fcoal\u0103 a cer\u015fetoriei\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> Cu adev\u0103rat, s\u0103r\u0103cia este degradant\u0103 \u015fi nu poate fi o condi\u0163ie social\u0103 bun\u0103. Este \u00eengrozitor s\u0103 te umile\u015fti continuu, o via\u021b\u0103, cer\u015find! Chiar \u0219i numai o perioad\u0103 a vie\u021bii! Mihai Eminescu spunea c\u0103 \u201es\u0103r\u0103cia e un izvor de rele fizice \u015fi morale, care, la r\u00e2ndul lor, sunt cauze ale decaden\u0163ei economice\u201d. Ideal ar fi ca statul s\u0103 asigure tuturor cet\u0103\u0163enilor hrana, \u00eembr\u0103c\u0103mintea \u015fi un mod de via\u0163\u0103 s\u0103n\u0103tos. Este un vis, o utopie? Ceva irealizabil? Are statul de unde s\u0103 le dea? \u0218i-atunci?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> Rom\u00e2nul, cu imagina\u021bia \u0219i iste\u021bimea sa, a completat cugetarea lui Schopenhauer: \u201eUn cer\u0219etor s\u0103n\u0103tos este mai fericit dec\u00e2t un rege bolnav, \u00eens\u0103 mai bine bogat \u0219i s\u0103n\u0103tos, dec\u00e2t s\u0103rac \u0219i r\u0103pciugos.\u201d Trebuie totu\u0219i s\u0103 admitem c\u0103 sunt ni\u015fte nenoroci\u0163i ai sor\u0163ii. \u201eAr fi u\u015for s\u0103-i arunc\u0103m peste bord\u201d, cum s-au exprimat \u00een mod cinic unii, dar aceast\u0103 atitudine ne-ar scoate din r\u00e2ndul oamenilor \u015fi am putea fi numi\u0163i animale, f\u0103r\u0103 ra\u0163iune \u015fi f\u0103r\u0103 sentimentul compasiunii fa\u0163\u0103 de semeni. Sunt \u0163\u0103ri care p\u0103streaz\u0103 eviden\u0163a cer\u015fetorilor, le d\u0103 \u015fansa de a cer\u015fi un timp limitat \u00eentr-un ora\u015f, dup\u0103 care \u00eei for\u0163eaz\u0103 s\u0103 plece \u015fi astfel, unii se plictisesc de vagabondaj \u015fi se apuc\u0103 de munc\u0103. Ar fi o solu\u021bie?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong> Am amintit \u00een alt eseu, de vremea c\u00e2nd Episcopul R\u00e2mnicului \u0219i Arge\u0219ului ne-a povestit cum o cer\u015fetoare\u00a0 a donat Episcopiei o sum\u0103 mare de bani pentru refacerea acoperi\u015fului unei m\u0103n\u0103stiri. \u201eToat\u0103 truda cer\u015fetoriei a d\u0103ruit-o lui Dumnezeu\u201c, ne spunea. \u0218i astfel, chiar dac\u0103 noi nu am avut inten\u0163ia s\u0103 d\u0103ruim bani vreunei m\u0103n\u0103stiri \u015fi nu am cunoscut destina\u0163ia banilor pe care i-am d\u0103ruit cer\u015fetoarei respective, ei au ajuns acolo unde trebuia, acolo unde nici nu g\u00e2ndeam, acolo unde ne-a ajutat \u00cengerul s\u0103 d\u0103ruim, d\u00e2nd un ban acelei cer\u015fetoare\u2026 Iat\u0103 c\u0103 excep\u0163iile exist\u0103 \u015fi multe sunt \u201ec\u0103ile Domnului\u201d! De cur\u00e2nd am auzit \u015ftirea c\u0103 alt\u0103 cer\u015fetoare \u015fi-a str\u00e2ns bani s\u0103 vad\u0103 m\u0103n\u0103stirile din Grecia. Poate c\u0103 acolo, \u00eenchin\u00e2ndu-se \u00een fa\u0163a unei icoane, \u00een filmul derulat al amintirii ei, s\u0103 fi fost \u015fi chipurile noastre \u2013 ale persoanelor care i-au d\u0103ruit bani \u2013 \u015fi g\u00e2ndurile ei, imaginile, s\u0103 fi urmat drumul cosmic\u2026 Nimic nu e \u00eent\u00e2mpl\u0103tor \u00een lumea asta!
