Prima reprezenta\u021bie (1689) a durat o or\u0103 \u0219i a avut loc la Pensionul de fete Josias din Chelsea, un cartier al Londrei. Purcell \u00eensu\u0219i a c\u00e2ntat la clavecin, iar elevele au dansat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen Israel \u201eDido \u0219i Aeneas\u201d a fost montat\u0103 \u00een 1985. Am v\u0103zut spectacolul montat \u00een 2014 pe scena Operei din Rouen, Haute Normandie, de \u00a0coreografii, regizorii \u0219i scenografii de un talent \u0219i de o fantezie ie\u0219ite din comun, C\u00e9cile Roussat \u0219i Julien Lubek. Mi-am spus atunci c\u0103 nicio alt\u0103 reprezentare nu o va putea dep\u0103\u0219i. \u0218i iat\u0103 c\u0103 Opera israelian\u0103 a invitat tandemul Roussat-Lubek \u0219i ei au reeditat succesul folosind acelea\u0219i decoruri \u0219i costume de poveste, precum \u0219i lighting design-ul fabulos al lui Marc Gingold. Uvertura <em>french style<\/em> e \u00een tempo lent \u0219i solemn.\u00a0 Urmeaz\u0103 un <em>allegro<\/em> cu elemente \u00eemprumutate din fug\u0103 \u0219i \u00een continuare prima arie a confidentei reginei, Belinda \u201eShake the cloud\u201d. Episoadele \u00een care apar vr\u0103jitoarele-sirene sunt tipic engleze\u0219ti, c\u00e2ntate realist sau cu vocalize ceea ce d\u0103 muzicii o tent\u0103 comico-dramatic\u0103. Cea mai cunoscut\u0103 arie, cea a mor\u021bii lui Dido are o cromatic\u0103 descendent\u0103 \u0219i o parte vocal\u0103, prevestind contrapunctul n\u0103scut din polifonia linear\u0103. Purcell reu\u0219e\u0219te s\u0103 pun\u0103 pe muzic\u0103 limba englez\u0103 \u00een lamenta\u021bii pline de patos, arii bucolice \u0219i coruri str\u0103lucitoare, totul pe un fond dramatic dens \u0219i concis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Subiectul e inspirat din Cartea a IV-a a Eneidei de Virgiliu \u00een care e vorba de dragostea cu sf\u00e2r\u0219it dramatic dintre Dido, regina Cartaginei \u0219i eroul troian Aeneas, fiul lui Venus. Se presupune c\u0103 opera ar fi alegoric\u0103. Tate \u00eensu\u0219i men\u021biona c\u0103 James al II-lea ar fi Aeneas care, indus \u00een eroare de for\u021be malefice, o p\u0103r\u0103se\u0219te pe Dido, simboliz\u00e2nd poporul britanic. Mai plauzibil \u00eemi pare ordinul dat Jupiter lui Aeneas de a rupe leg\u0103tura cu Dido \u0219i de a se \u00eentoarce \u00een Italia pentru a \u00eentemeia ora\u0219ul Roma \u00een locul Troiei distruse.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Ac\u021biunea se desf\u0103\u0219oar\u0103 \u00eentr-un univers marin, ini\u021bial pe un mal st\u00e2ncos al m\u0103rii, \u00een portul cartaginez (actualmente Tunisia) unde are loc \u00eent\u00e2lnirea mitologicului cuplu. Dido \u0219i Aeneas \u00ee\u0219i consum\u0103 dragostea \u00eentr-o cochilie uria\u0219\u0103. Lumea subacvatic\u0103 e populat\u0103 de sirene, f\u0103pturi fantastice, un monstru marin \u0219i o caracati\u021b\u0103-magician gigantic\u0103. Furtuna violent\u0103 reprezent\u00e2nd furia zeiasc\u0103 \u00eentrerupe extazul amoros. \u00cen lumina aurie a asfin\u021bitului, marinarii troieni se \u00eembarc\u0103 pe vaporul a c\u0103rui prov\u0103 ocup\u0103 jum\u0103tate din scen\u0103. Matelo\u021bi acroba\u021bi realizeaz\u0103 un melanj de street cu piramide, apoi se ca\u021b\u0103r\u0103 pe catarge. Un Cupidon \u00eenaripat, acoperit de fulgi zboar\u0103 \u00een aer \u00eentr-un num\u0103r de trapez pe muzic\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00cen rolul lui Dido, mezzo soprana Anat Czarny cucere\u0219te printr-o evolu\u021bie muzical\u0103 foarte reu\u0219it\u0103, vocea bine dozat\u0103 \u0219i interpretarea \u00een nuan\u021be asortate barocului. Finalul dramatic, c\u00e2nd fusta i se desface ocup\u00e2nd toat\u0103 scena \u0219i se transform\u0103 \u00een marea care o \u00eenghite \u00een valurile ei, surprinde \u0219i emo\u021bioneaz\u0103 publicul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Baritonul Oded Reich (Aeneas) pe linii melodice perfecte red\u0103 fr\u0103m\u00e2nt\u0103rile eroului \u00een lupta cu destinul, intrigile vr\u0103jitoarelor \u0219i ordinul lui Jupiter de a-\u0219i p\u0103r\u0103si iubita. Foarte reu\u0219it\u0103 a fost \u0219i soprana Daniela Skorka (Belinda) cu o partitur\u0103 \u00eentins\u0103, bine sus\u021binut\u0103. Men\u021bionez de asemenea pe tenorul Guy Mennheim (magicianul-caracati\u021b\u0103) \u0219i pe Moran Abouloff, Tali Ketzef, Nitzan Alon \u0219i Yaniv d\u2019Or.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Produc\u021bia cucere\u0219te publicul prin candoare ludic\u0103. Stilul operei este respectat cu grij\u0103, iar inova\u021biile scenice se urm\u0103resc cu deliciu.
