Unul dintre ele este mitul Pandorei care a \u00eencercat s\u0103 explice originea r\u0103ului. Povestea spune c\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd Prometeu l-a imitat pe Zeus cre\u00e2nd oameni perfec\u021bi din lut \u0219i d\u00e2ndu-le apoi via\u021b\u0103, Zeus s-a sim\u021bit jignit \u0219i a dorit s\u0103 se r\u0103zbune. Astfel, l-a pus pe Hefaistos s\u0103 creeze o cutie \u00een care zeii au pus toate relele din lume. Singura care s-a deosebit de ceilal\u021bi zei a fost Atena \u2013 zei\u021ba \u00een\u021belepciunii \u2013 care a pus \u00een cutie <em>Speran\u021ba.<\/em> Zeus i-a d\u0103ruit-o pe Pandora ca so\u021bie lui Prometeu, \u00eempreun\u0103 cu acea cutie, de unde \u0219i numele de <em>Cutia Pandorei<\/em>. Prometeu a refuzat s\u0103 primeasc\u0103 darul, \u00eens\u0103 fratele s\u0103u a deschis cutia eliber\u00e2nd toate relele \u0219i speriat, s-a gr\u0103bit s\u0103 \u00eenchid\u0103 capacul, f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 observe c\u0103 pe fundul cutiei r\u0103m\u0103sese <em>Speran\u021ba.<\/em> De aceea se spune c\u0103 <em>Speran\u021ba<\/em> moare ultima.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 C\u00e2nd ne sim\u021bim slabi \u00een lupt\u0103 cu via\u021ba, <em>speran\u021ba <\/em>este cea care ne face puternici, fiindc\u0103 ea ac\u021bioneaz\u0103 ca o energie a sufletului. Poetul rom\u00e2n Tudor Arghezi o definea foarte asem\u0103n\u0103tor lui Aristotel, ca fiind <em>\u201eun vis cu ochii deschi\u0219i\u201d.<\/em> <em>\u201eNu l\u0103sa visele s\u0103 piar\u0103, pentru c\u0103 dac\u0103 visele mor, via\u021ba nu este dec\u00e2t o pas\u0103re cu aripi rupte care nu mai poate s\u0103 zboare\u201d, <\/em>spunea scriitorul american<em> <\/em>Langston Hughes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 \u00cen secolul XIX, filozoful german Arthur Schopenhauer sus\u021binea c\u0103 <em>voin\u021ba<\/em> omului este elementul real \u0219i esen\u021bial de a tr\u0103i, c\u0103 este singura expresie a existen\u021bei \u00eens\u0103\u0219i a universului \u0219i c\u0103 orice om are nevoie de griji, dureri ori mizerie, dup\u0103 cum corabia are nevoie de \u00eenc\u0103rc\u0103tur\u0103, spre a merge drept \u0219i sigur. El sus\u021binea c\u0103\u00a0<em>voin\u021ba<\/em>\u00a0st\u0103 la baza ac\u021biunilor omului,\u00a0av\u00e2nd o puternic\u0103 for\u021b\u0103 lipsit\u0103 de ra\u021biune \u0219i de scop, c\u0103 lumea \u0219i istoria sunt lipsite de sens \u0219i de o \u021bint\u0103 final\u0103. Mai sus\u021binea c\u0103 <em>voin\u021ba<\/em> este \u00eenso\u021bit\u0103 de inteligen\u021b\u0103 \u0219i curaj, \u0219i c\u0103 ele, aceste calit\u0103\u021bi, se mo\u0219tenesc, una de la mam\u0103 \u0219i altul de la tat\u0103. Deci, s\u0103 \u00een\u021belegem c\u0103 voin\u021ba ar fi o for\u021b\u0103 care imprim\u0103 o mi\u0219care care poate fi haotic\u0103 dac\u0103 nu solicit\u0103 inteligen\u021ba \u0219i curajul pentru a-i da un sens. Fiecare om are dorin\u021be, \u00ee\u0219i creeaz\u0103 un ideal \u0219i sper\u0103 s\u0103 \u0219i-l \u00eendeplineasc\u0103 prin lupt\u0103, deseori fiind implicat sacrificiul sub diferite forme. Sper\u0103, \u0219i cine nu poate spera \u0219i nu poate lupta, nu are cum s\u0103 ajung\u0103 la fericire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Po\u021bi spera, po\u021bi realiza, po\u021bi c\u00e2\u0219tiga, dar po\u021bi \u0219i pierde; dar nu conteaz\u0103, fiindc\u0103 mai po\u021bi \u00eencerca, mai po\u021bi din nou spera, mai po\u021bi pierde, dar po\u021bi c\u00e2\u0219tiga. Dac\u0103 nu speri, \u00een final ajungi s\u0103 disperi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Cre\u0219tinismul ne \u00eencurajeaz\u0103 vorbindu-ne despre <em>Speran\u021b\u0103:<\/em> <em>\u201e &#8230; \u0219tim c\u0103 necazul te determin\u0103 s\u0103 ai r\u0103bdare, r\u0103bdarea aduce biruin\u021ba \u00een \u00eencercare, iar biruin\u021ba aceasta aduce n\u0103dejdea. \u00cens\u0103 n\u0103dejdea aceasta nu \u00een\u0219al\u0103, pentru c\u0103 dragostea lui Dumnezeu a fost turnat\u0103 \u00een inimile noastre prin Duhul Sf\u00e2nt, care ne-a fost dat\u201d<\/em> (Romani 5:3-5).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Existen\u021biali\u0219tii secolului trecut au vorbit foarte mult despre dezn\u0103dejde, ca stare \u00een fa\u021ba unei lumi \u00eenchise, f\u0103r\u0103 ie\u0219ire. Cel mai ilustru reprezentant al existen\u021bialismului, filozoful, dramaturgul, romancierul francez Jean-Paul Sartre \u2013 de\u0219i are o filosofie original\u0103, pur personal\u0103, marcat\u0103 puternic de aspectele politice ale vremii \u2013 , \u00een povestirea \u00a0<em>Cu u\u0219ile \u00eenchise<\/em>, imagineaz\u0103 camera ca un fel de infern, un spa\u021biu \u00eenchis, lipsit de ferestre \u0219i pat, cu lumina permanent aprins\u0103 \u0219i u\u0219a \u00eencuiat\u0103 pe dinafar\u0103; un spa\u021biu \u00een care nimeni nu intr\u0103, iar cele c\u00e2teva personaje din\u0103untru nu pot ie\u0219i&#8230; Nici o dorin\u021b\u0103 de a crede nu este zugr\u0103vit\u0103 \u00een arta sartrian\u0103; nici acea jum\u0103tate de m\u0103sur\u0103 \u00een credin\u021b\u0103: <em>\u201eCred, Doamne, ajut\u0103 necredin\u021bei mele\u201d.<\/em> \u00centunericul este total, fiindc\u0103 Sartre este un existen\u021bialist care respinge existen\u021ba lui Dumnezeu, consider\u00e2nd c\u0103 omul \u00ee\u0219i prime\u0219te existen\u021ba de la p\u0103rin\u021bi, iar \u201eapari\u021bia\u201d existen\u021bei este un accident.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Scriitorul Octavian Paler propune \u00eens\u0103 altceva: s\u0103 re\u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103m <em>speran\u021ba.<\/em> \u00centr-un dialog imaginar cu poetul H\u00f6lderlin, \u00eei r\u0103spunde acestuia printr-un poem \u0219i vorbe\u0219te despre poezie, de\u0219i nu se refer\u0103 doar la cei care scriu versuri, ci la capacitatea omului de a-\u0219i dep\u0103\u0219i condi\u021bia de muritor prin valorificarea virtu\u021bilor sale. \u0218i <em>speran\u021ba <\/em>este una dintre virtu\u021bi, care se poate verifica mai ales \u00een perioade de lipsuri, cum ar fi perioada de secet\u0103. <em>\u201eA\u021bi scris undeva un vers, \u2013 spune Paler \u2013 \u201eLa ce bun poetul, \u00een vreme de secet\u0103?\u201d, \u0219i tocmai asta \u00eemi d\u0103 \u00eendr\u0103zneala s\u0103 m\u0103 adresez unui mare poet \u0219i s\u0103 spun c\u0103 adev\u0103ratul curaj, adev\u0103ratul curaj al poeziei nu este probabil s\u0103 c\u00e2nte ploile c\u00e2nd toat\u0103 lumea le vede, adev\u0103ratul ei curaj este s\u0103 vad\u0103 cerul p\u00e2rjolit \u0219i s\u0103 spere. \u0218i \u00eenainte de a fi ploaie adev\u0103rat\u0103 care ud\u0103 c\u00e2mpiile, ploaia s\u0103 fie astfel speran\u021b\u0103 \u0219i c\u00e2ntec\u201d.<\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 A\u0219adar, binele s\u0103 fie mai \u00eent\u00e2i \u00een cugetele noastre, acesta este crezul prin care Paler justific\u0103 poezia. \u0218i cere poetului s\u0103 fie un profet al <em>speran\u021bei<\/em>, care s\u0103 aminteasc\u0103 celorlal\u021bi c\u0103 au datoria s\u0103 spere: \u201e<em>Un poet \u00een fa\u021ba unui cer ars, \u00een fa\u021ba unui c\u00e2mp p\u00e2rjolit \u0219i care nu e \u00een stare s\u0103 c\u00e2nte \u0219i s\u0103 cread\u0103 \u00een ploi, s\u0103 ne aduc\u0103 aminte c\u0103 ploaia exist\u0103, c\u0103 ea va \u00eenflori p\u0103m\u00e2ntul bolnav, a\u0219adar, un poet care nu e un profet al speran\u021bei, un poet cu buzele arse care nu simte nevoia s\u0103 c\u00e2nte ploile lumii n-a \u00een\u021beles c\u0103 poezia e \u00een primul r\u00e2nd o form\u0103 a speran\u021bei\u201d.<\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Este, poate, cea mai frumoas\u0103 defini\u021bie a unui poet, aceea de profet al ploilor \u00een vreme de secet\u0103. S\u0103 fim atunci to\u021bi poe\u021bi ai anului ce vine \u2013 2019! S\u0103 avem curajul s\u0103 profe\u021bim vremuri mai bune! S\u0103 demonstr\u0103m c\u0103 speran\u021ba nu este zadarnic\u0103! S\u0103 spunem astfel, c\u0103 poetul \u2013 adic\u0103 sufletul viu al fiec\u0103ruia \u2013 trebuie <em>\u201es\u0103 c\u00e2nte ploile tocmai atunci c\u00e2nd avem cea mai mare nevoie de ele, c\u00e2nd ne lipsesc \u0219i ne dor, c\u00e2nd soarele arde \u0219i m\u00e2inile miros a \u00eendoial\u0103\u2026\u201d <\/em>\u00a0Este, poate, cea mai frumoas\u0103 defini\u021bie a unui suflet de poet, aceea de <em>\u201eprofet al ploilor \u00een vreme de secet\u0103\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 S\u0103 fim atunci poe\u021bi anul acesta care vine \u0219i s\u0103 profe\u021bim vremuri mai bune! S\u0103 demonstr\u0103m c\u0103 <em>speran\u021ba <\/em>nu trebuie s\u0103 lipseasc\u0103 din sufletele noastre. Sunt de acord c\u0103 speran\u021ba este un \u201evis\u201d necesar sufletului nostru, dar cred, \u00een acela\u0219i timp, c\u0103 ea necesit\u0103 s\u0103 fie \u00eenso\u021bit\u0103 de <em>voin\u021b\u0103<\/em> care s\u0103 pun\u0103 \u00een mi\u0219care visul, a\u0219a cum a afirmat c\u00e2ndva Paler, c\u0103 speran\u021ba trebuie construit\u0103. Speran\u021ba poate fi imaginat\u0103 ca un castel cu o arhitectur\u0103 care s\u0103 ne scoat\u0103 din realitatea modest\u0103 sau chiar mizerabil\u0103, \u0219i s\u0103 ne ofere prosperitate. Iar prosperitatea nu poate fi realizat\u0103 f\u0103r\u0103 o activitate intens\u0103, f\u0103r\u0103 curaj, cinste, dreptate \u0219i d\u0103ruire<em>. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 \u00cen via\u021b\u0103, individul se love\u0219te de tot felul de obstacole, de greut\u0103\u021bi. Existen\u021ba este un \u0219ir de victorii \u0219i e\u0219ecuri, iar fiin\u021ba uman\u0103 nu poate rezista dec\u00e2t dac\u0103 g\u0103se\u0219te \u00een propria interioritate puterea necesar\u0103 de a merge mai departe. O asemenea surs\u0103 de putere de rena\u0219tere este tocmai <em>speran\u021ba.<\/em> Renun\u021barea la lupta cu via\u021ba, incapacitatea de a dep\u0103\u0219i dezn\u0103dejdea amenin\u021b\u0103 evolu\u021bia fiin\u021bei \u0219i chiar integritatea ei. Dac\u0103 lumina permite ochilor s\u0103 vad\u0103 ceea ce este \u00een jur, speran\u021ba deschide ochii sufletului pentru a vedea c\u0103 exist\u0103 o cale de a merge mai departe, folosind lumina \u00eentrez\u0103rit\u0103. Ivirea acestei lumini a sufletului ac\u021bioneaz\u0103 salvator. Cuprins de speran\u021b\u0103, omul alung\u0103 teama r\u0103ului din via\u021ba sa. El va \u00een\u021belege c\u0103 trebuie s\u0103 lupte pentru normalitatea, lini\u0219tea vie\u021bii lui \u0219i c\u0103 spiritul s\u0103u va rena\u0219te datorit\u0103 acestei lumini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Este clar c\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd ai o dorin\u021b\u0103, speri sau disperi. Dar \u0219i speran\u021ba, \u0219i disperarea presupun o atitudine. Exist\u0103 \u0219i persoane care nu sunt capabile nici s\u0103 spere, \u0219i nici s\u0103 dispere. Se predau platitudinii. Tr\u0103iesc \u00eentr-o lume absolvit\u0103 de dorin\u021be, de idealuri. O lume fals\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 Speran\u021ba nu are unitate de m\u0103sur\u0103. Putem spera tot timpul, putem a\u0219tepta, putem r\u0103bda atingerea visului, a idealului&#8230; R\u0103bdarea este cea care ne absolv\u0103 temporar de disperare \u0219i f\u0103r\u0103 a avea motiva\u021bia r\u0103bd\u0103rii, omul \u00eencepe s\u0103 dezn\u0103d\u0103jduiasc\u0103&#8230; <em>\u201eCel ce dezn\u0103d\u0103jduie\u0219te \u00ee\u0219i ucide singur sufletul\u201d, <\/em><em>spunea<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>Sf\u00e2ntul Ioan Sc\u0103rarul.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0 O dorin\u021b\u0103 realizat\u0103 este un efect al unei cauze, fiindc\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd ne propunem a spera \u00een ceva, acel ceva are o motiva\u021bie \u00een mintea noastr\u0103, \u00een sufletul nostru. Asemeni unei semin\u021be, speran\u021ba este cea care \u00eencol\u021be\u0219te \u0219i a\u0219teapt\u0103 culegerea rodului. Cu ce ai ajutat dezvoltarea? Da, <em>\u201esperan\u021ba se construie\u0219te\u201d,<\/em> adic\u0103 omul nu trebuie s\u0103 viseze \u0219i s\u0103 r\u0103m\u00e2n\u0103 pasiv, ci trebuie s\u0103 \u0219i ac\u021bioneze \u00een dob\u00e2ndirea dorin\u021bei sale, a idealului s\u0103u. Dup\u0103 definirea idealului, speran\u021ba fiec\u0103ruia poate fi \u00eensumat\u0103 speran\u021bei colective.
