M\u0103 simt profund onorat\u0103 \u0219i privilegiat\u0103 de a face acest lucru mai ales c\u0103 aceasta este povestea propriei mele comunit\u0103\u021bi natale, o nara\u021biune redat\u0103 cu dragoste si minu\u021biozitate impresionant\u0103 \u0219i o aten\u021bie deosebit\u0103 la detalii. \u00centr-adev\u0103r, cartea domnului Ience este rezultatul\u00a0 multor ani de cercet\u0103ri efectuate cu rabdare, care produc o lucrare unic\u0103 ca valoare\u00a0 documentar\u0103. Aceasta este prima monografie axat\u0103 exclusiv pe istoria satului Ticau, cuprinz\u00e2nd toate informa\u021biile de arhiv\u0103 disponibile despre comunitatea noastr\u0103. Astfel, ea reprezint\u0103 o lucrare de valoare unic\u0103, una pe care ar trebui cu to\u021bii s\u0103 o \u00eendr\u0103gim ca b\u0103\u0219tina\u0219i ai \u021aic\u0103ului\u00a0 sau cititori interesa\u021bi de dezvoltarea istoric\u0103 a acestei regiuni din Maramure\u0219ul contemporan, Rom\u00e2nia. Semnifica\u021bia sa ca munc\u0103 de aducere aminte este amplificat\u0103 de faptul c\u0103 se reface tot ce a r\u0103mas dup\u0103 \u00eencercarile comunismului de a \u0219terge trecutul nostru, de a distruge cl\u0103diri, documente, \u00eempreun\u0103 cu sim\u021bul identit\u0103\u021bii poporului. Lu\u00e2nd \u00een considerare toate acestea, vreau s\u0103 subliniez suficient de mult\u00a0 importan\u021ba efortului concertat al domnului Ience de a ne salva trecutul, trecutul comun.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Autorul, domnul Ience este un b\u0103\u0219tina\u0219 al Ticaului, \u00eenv\u0103\u021b\u0103tor de peste 40 de ani, o ocupa\u021bie nobil\u0103 \u0219i orientat\u0103 spre comunitate, urm\u0103rindu-\u0219i \u00een acela\u0219i timp pasiunea fa\u021b\u0103 de istoria local\u0103. Dup\u0103 cum mi-a spus, \u00een timp ce a scris aceast\u0103 monografie, nu a urmat un model anume, mai degrab\u0103 si-a urm\u0103rit intui\u021bia \u0219i dorin\u021ba interioar\u0103 care l-au \u00eempins spre a \u00eenregistra povestea comunit\u0103\u021bii sale natale: \u201eA\u0219a am sim\u021bit eu c\u0103 trebuie s\u0103 o scriu.\u201c Ca profesor universitar care a plecat din Tic\u0103u pentru a-mi construi o carier\u0103 academic\u0103 \u0219i de a ob\u021bine un doctorat \u00een New York City, Statele Unite ale Americii, cunosc valoarea \u0219colirii adev\u0103rate \u0219i simt un respect imens pentru oameni ca dl. Ience \u0219i pentru to\u021bi acei care o procedeaz\u0103 ca d\u00e2nsul. F\u0103r\u0103 finan\u021bare extern\u0103, baz\u00e2ndu-se exclusiv pe propriile resurse, domnul Ience a scris aceast\u0103 monografie pentru a p\u0103stra o istorie prea u\u0219or de uitat \u00een lumea noastr\u0103 contemporan\u0103 definit\u0103 de via\u021ba noastr\u0103 grabit\u0103. Aceasta este probabil valoarea suprem\u0103 a acestui text: este o consemnare pe care aproape c\u0103 nimeni altcineva nu ar fi produs-o sau ar fi putut-o produce, povestea unui mic sat, povestea noastr\u0103, a celor care s-au n\u0103scut aici \u0219i ai c\u0103ror p\u0103rin\u021bi, bunici \u0219i str\u0103bunici s-au n\u0103scut, au tr\u0103it \u0219i au fost \u00eengropa\u021bi aici. Dl Ience subliniaz\u0103 \u00een paginile de deschidere c\u0103 a descoperit o surs\u0103 de informare dat\u00e2nd cu aproximativ o sut\u0103 de ani mai devreme dec\u00e2t cea a lui\u00a0 Petri Mor\u00a0 \u00een lucrarea publicat\u0103 \u00een 1902 sub titlul ,,Szilagy v\u00e1rmegye monografiaja\u201d, considerat\u0103 de obicei ca fiind\u00a0 prima monografie publicat\u0103 despre istoria regiunii. \u00centr-adev\u0103r, domnul Ience a descoperit lucrarea lui Antal Szirmai din 1809 \u0219i astfel dovedind c\u0103 lucrarea lui Szirmai are precedent fa\u021b\u0103 de Petri \u0219i ar trebui s\u0103 fie recunoscut\u0103 ca atare \u0219i de al\u021bi istorici. Acest lucru, \u00een sine, reprezint\u0103 o descoperire semnificativ\u0103, m\u0103rind exponen\u021bial valoarea istoriografic\u0103 \u0219i documentar\u0103 a lucr\u0103rii domnului Ience. De asemenea, a verificat foarte atent toate sursele\u00a0 disponibile men\u021bionate \u00een ambele monografii: conscrip\u021bii \u0219i recens\u0103minte ale Imperiului Habsburgic \u0219i monarhiei austro-ungare din secolele 18 \u0219i 19. A inclus numeroase fotografii de \u00eenalt\u0103 calitate ale documentelor istorice, cartografice, anchete \u0219i date, pe l\u00e2ng\u0103 fotografiile originale care prezint\u0103 oameni \u0219i locuri din sat de la \u00eenceputul secolului al 20-lea . Domnul Ience a ajuns chiar s\u0103 caute prin materialele puse la dispozi\u021bie de Ministerul Ap\u0103r\u0103rii din Cehia pentru a \u00eenregistra pierderile suferite de comunitatea noastr\u0103 \u00een timpul primului r\u0103zboi mondial! El nareaz\u0103, de asemenea, amintiri personale, care, pentru mine, un \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat care studiaz\u0103 memoria colectiv\u0103 \u0219i trauma istoric\u0103\u00a0 sunt m\u0103rturii inestimabile. El relateaz\u0103 ceea ce a auzit de la propriii p\u0103rin\u021bi despre oamenii din \u021aic\u0103u\u00a0 care au supravie\u021buit \u00een\u00a0 lag\u0103rele de deten\u021bie din Siberia \u00een timpul primului r\u0103zboi mondial, unul dintre supravie\u021buitori fiind bunicul domnului Ience. Spre uimirea mea, aflu din monografia domnului Ience c\u0103, de exemplu, potrivit unui recens\u0103m\u00e2nt realizat \u00eentre 1772-1774 ,,Cziko\u201d\u00a0 g\u0103zduia \u201e21 \u021b\u0103rani liberi, 8 iobagi, 5 lucr\u0103tori zilieri cu cas\u0103 \u0219i 3 lucr\u0103tori zilieri f\u0103r\u0103 cas\u0103.\u201d O privire fascinant\u0103 \u00een trecutul nostru, nu-i a\u0219a? De asemenea, am fost surprins\u0103 de faptul c\u0103 \u00een micul meu sat era un loc alocat execu\u021biilor publice si sp\u00e2nzur\u0103rilor. Referin\u021bele lingvistice sunt l\u0103muritoare: locul respectiv de p\u0103m\u00e2nt este cunoscut de mult ca \u201eacastau\u0103\u201d sau \u201eakaszto\u201d, iar bunicii no\u0219tri ar fi putut s\u0103 utilizeze termenul, probabil f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 \u0219tie de semnifica\u021bia sa ini\u021bial\u0103.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Una dintre ideile principale pe care lucrarea domnului Ience o subliniaz\u0103 este dualitatea inerent\u0103 a comunit\u0103\u021bii noastre: de la \u00eenceputuri, Ticau \/ Szamosciko a fost \u00eenregistrat ca un sat maghiar \u0219i rom\u00e2nesc, \u00eenc\u0103 din 1431 ca \u201eMagyar and Olah falu\u201c sau un sat maghiar \u0219i rom\u00e2n, \u0219i a evoluat ca atare de-a lungul secolelor. Oameni de dou\u0103 etnii \u0219i de dou\u0103 religii diferite au coexistat \u00een mod pa\u0219nic, indiferent de ce puterea extern\u0103 a domnit peste ei. Dup\u0103 cum domnul Ience face aluzie la un moment dat \u00een lucrarea sa: \u201d \u00cen anul 1698, o putere str\u0103in\u0103 (Austria) a impus convertirea poporului de la ortodoxie la catolicism. \u00cen 1948, o alt\u0103 putere str\u0103in\u0103 (URSS) a decretat revenirea la Ortodoxie. P\u00e2n\u0103 ast\u0103zi, lucrurile au r\u0103mas la fel. Doar Dumnezeu \u0219tie ce se va \u00eent\u00e2mpla \u00een viitor. Dup\u0103 felul \u00een care lucrurile func\u021bioneaz\u0103, pot spune cu siguran\u021b\u0103 c\u0103 orice este posibil! \u201e(P. 32). Este \u00een\u021belepciunea \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat\u0103 a istoricului care cunoa\u0219te prea bine imprevizibilitatea istoriei care d\u0103 putere cuvintelor domnului Ience aici. A\u0219a cum subliniaz\u0103, schimb\u0103ri majore au avut loc \u00een satul nostru mic de-alungul secolelor, \u0219i totu\u0219i, oamenii au tr\u0103it \u00eempreun\u0103 prin asemenea r\u0103zvr\u0103tiri, unguri \u0219i rom\u00e2ni deopotriv\u0103. Este aceast\u0103 dualitate \u0219i unitate care ne-a definit istoria, trecutul \u0219i prezentul nostru, \u0219i este o identitate colectiv\u0103 pe care am mo\u0219tenit-o \u0219i ar trebui s\u0103 o pre\u021buim ca atare. Pe m\u0103sur\u0103 ce alte etnii ni s-au al\u0103turat, evreii \u0219i romii, am devenit mai puternici \u00eempreun\u0103, diver\u0219i din interior, dar uni\u021bi din exterior.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dl. Ience este un scriitor prolific. A scris o alt\u0103 monografie a sistemului \u0219colar din comuna \u00een care pred\u0103 (Creaca, jud. S\u0103laj ), un dic\u021bionar de\u00a0 regionalisme \u0219i limbaj arhaic \u00een regiunea Creaca-Jibou-Ticau \u0219i dou\u0103 c\u0103r\u021bi axate pe analiza istoric\u0103 a sistemul educa\u021bional (\u00cenv\u0103\u021b\u0103m\u00e2ntul rom\u00e2nesc din S\u0103laj-repere monografice \u0219i Planuri de lec\u021bie din perioada 1860-1940). Dup\u0103 cum mi-a spus, motiva\u021bia lui este s\u0103 surprind\u0103 istoria \u0219i s\u0103 o pun\u0103 la dispozi\u021bia celor care vor s\u0103 o cunoasc\u0103. Este o \u00eentreprindere intelectual\u0103 inspirat\u0103 de iubirea sa profund\u0103 fa\u021b\u0103 de comunitatea sa natal\u0103 \u0219i de locul \u00een care s-a n\u0103scut \u0219i a crescut. Sper c\u0103 cititorii se vor bucura de aceast\u0103 carte, vor aprecia caracterul s\u0103u unic \u0219i bog\u0103\u021bia de informa\u021bii pe care le con\u021bine \u0219i vor ajunge s\u0103 \u00eemp\u0103rt\u0103\u0219easc\u0103 respectul \u0219i admira\u021bia mea profund\u0103 pentru autorul ei. Ience \u00far felfedez\u00e9se Szirmai Antal 1809-es sz\u00f6vege, mely teh\u00e1t a Petri m\u0171nel korabbi forr\u00e1s. Ience \u00far ugyanakkor lelkiismeretesen ut\u00e1nan\u00e9zett minden egy\u00e9b dokumentumnak is, mindazoknak melyek a Habsburg birodalom \u00e9s az Osztrak-Magyar Monarhia kor\u00e1ban, a 19 \u00e9s 20 sz\u00e1zad folyaman keletkeztek. Monogr\u00e1fi\u00e1ja b\u0151velkedik magas kivitelez\u00e9s\u0171 eredeti fot\u00f3kban, melyek r\u00e1mutatnak a falusi emberek \u00e9let\u00e9re a 20 sz\u00e1zad elejn, ugyanakkor sz\u00e1mos m\u00e1solatot tartalmaz t\u00e9rk\u00e9pekr\u0151l \u00e9s adatb\u00e1zisokr\u00f3l. Ience \u00far elmagyarazza mit hallott, mint gyermek olyan cik\u00f3i katon\u00e1kr\u00f3l, akiket munkat\u00e1borokba \u00e9s szib\u00e9riai l\u00e1gerekbe deport\u00e1ltak a m\u00e1sodik vil\u00e1gh\u00e1bor\u00fa alatt, saj\u00e1t nagyapj\u00e1t is. A Ience \u00far szavaival \u00e9lve, \u201e1698-ban egy idegen hatalom (Ausztria) er\u00f6ltette a falubeliek \u00e1t\u00e1ll\u00e1s\u00e1t az Ortodokszi\u00e1r\u00f3l a R\u00f3mai Katolicizmusra. 1948-ban egy masik idegen hatalom (a Szovjetunio) hat\u00e1rozta el a visszat\u00e9r\u00e9st az Ortodokszi\u00e1hoz. M\u00e1ig a dolgok \u00edgy maradtak. Csak a Fennvalo tudja mit hoz majd a j\u00f6v\u0151. A dolgok \u00e1llas\u00e1 szerint, mondhatom hogy minden lehetseges\u201d (old. 32). A tapasztalt t\u00f6rt\u00e9n\u00e9sz hangja ez, az\u00e9, aki j\u00f3l ismeri a t\u00f3rt\u00e9nelem el\u0151rel\u00e1thatatlans\u00e1g\u00e1t.
